INSIDE - SHORT FUSE PERFORMANCE NOV '09 by Jennie Pedley and Zsusa Kohan
Jennie Pedley and Zsusa Kohan will work behind a suspended sheet, manipulating moving lights and performing to music written and played live by Victoria Hume.A story of tension, confinement and release, 'Inside' is told solely through light, body and bed sheet.
The audience will be made voyeurs as moving light sources tease with glimpses of slowly moving silhouettes, sensual and abstract. In an intimate theatre space, the audience sees textures of clothing stretched out and away from the body to form containers, imposing limitations and tensions on the movement.
Jennie Pedley is a visual artist, who is currently exploring the use of silhouettes and shadows. www.jenniepedley.co.uk.
